A tight crop of the view from the east side of the Thames Barrier looking back at "The Wharf" and the "O2" (formerly the Millienium Dome). This worked out pretty well, although in my mind's eye the sun would be setting behind Canary Wharf. Unfortunately it was far too early in the year for that.

In terms of post processing for those interested it's been through photomatix psueduo HDR conversion followed by some masked hue changing to get the blue colour of the water.

Not been shooting much new material recently so I had a dig into the archives and came out with this shot. Well three to be precises since this is an HDR. It back before I owned a tripod and so the resulting HDR has quite a few artifacts as the Photomatix couldn't quite line up the originals. I liked the scene enough to post it anyway.

Disposable camera shot taken two thirds of the way through the cycling section of the triathlon I did earlier this year. Was incredibly tough being the first triathlon I've done as well as being entirely off-road for both the cycling and running courses. Off-road in terms of very steep hills, rivers and boulders to navigate up, down, through or over depending on how you were feeling when you came across each obstacle.
