My friend was kind enough to lend me his Canon G9 compact camera for the day and so I took a few 'test' shots during this trip to the Kawagoe. I'm pretty pleased with how this and some of the others turned out and so I am tempted to get myself a shiny new G9 camera. The major gripe I had was that even at medium ISO levels the noise is pretty noticable but that tends to be the case on all compact cameras given the size of the sensor.
