The landmark tower stands out across the many bays around the Yokohama bay area. With so much water around you the general aura is much more peaceful than in the centre of Tokyo.
Amazingly still water, so hard to find these days ;) And you caught it at the perfect time where there's still a bit of colour left in the sky. Much better than pitch black. Good shot!
They could use that building in a remake of Tron...
Thanks Chris. Actually, due to the large amount of light pollution, the skyline of Tokyo (or in this case Yokohama) is never pitch black and this was taken several hours after sun down!
It was also a 10 second exposure if I remember correctly which also gave an extra stillness to the pretty calm water.
what a fbaulous, enchanting photo. almost surreal. the stillnes of the water is as eerie as the clouds....
very stimulating to the senses, challenging to the eye.
