First Drop

First Drop

After seeing so many fantastic shots of water and other liquids (not fluids for those pedantic chemists among us) at sites such as round-here.net (this shot being one of my favourites), I've been wanting to try my hand at such photography.

Whilst taking a wonder in the park recently in the rain a leaky shelter roof and the puddle below it caught my attention and in the deepening gloom I patiently took several photos.

None of them came anywhere close to what I was trying to emulate, but I wanted to post my favourite attempt along with a pledge to produce some better material in the future.
