Yoyogi park

YOYOgi park

The unique cos-play-gang are a large group of teenagers that hang out in the Harajuku area at weekends. They dress in strange mix of goth and s&m and attract many a tourist and photographer.

I snap a few today but I preferred this photo of a yoyo whizz-kid. There were 6 of them taking it in turns to show case their skills in front of a video camera.

I'll post a poor picture of some of the strangely clothed people for you to get an idea of the setup.

How bizarre to see a kimono clad girl kneeling in the background surrounded by jeans and t shirt clad people... like having someone from a film set wandering in the High Street in a bustle!
