As I haven't been out taking many snaps lately (*insert excuses here*), here is another from Kyoto. The sun is nearly down as the last straggers rush up the hill to try and catch a glimpse of one last temple for the day.
It'll soon be the time of year when the maple leaves start to change colour (some people call it autumn), and it really is beautiful in Japan - especially in places like Kyoto which are inundated with maple trees. There is every shade of red, orange and yellow you can think of and they are all mixed together in a stunning display of colour.
Weather reports show which areas are currently in the midst of leaf changing season, and thousands upon thousands of people come out in force with their cameras, camera phones, and camcorders to capture a piece of it for themselves.
Looking forward to some wonderful tree pictures.
