The Golden Pavillion in Kyoto. When last I was here it was raining particularly hard and the sea of umbrellas made it a very different visit. This time around the rain wasn't far away, but it was bright enough to let the building shine.
If anyone has any post-processing tips for how I could have made the sky look less washed out I'd be grateful to hear from you.
When you find out, tell me! If the whole picture is washed out it's easy to change the colour blend a little to make it more interesting, over the whole picture but the editor I use doesn't appear to allow selective changes.
The selective bit I can handle, I just couldn't find a filter that made the sky look anything other than bright white or an unrealistic shade of blue.
