The Protectors

Protectors

These are small statues outside of Hase shrine in Kamakura. Erie to see so many of them, as they are supposed to be paced there to watch over the soul of children lost to a miscarriage or abortion.

Very erie indeed. It's amazing how they're all similar, yet just a little bit different, every one unique.
