Hedgehog Cake

Hedgehog Cake

The next birthday party required a cake to equal the Pig Cake, and I think Harriot Hedgehog did just that. Swirls of chocolate and orange inside made it very tasty.

Aside from the disaster that required a crushed merangue to fill the gap between the two halves (a fine job I think you'll agree since I bet you couldn't tell!) things went pretty according to plan. Maybe I've got this baking thing under control!

I think I may have to start up a little side line business supplying party cakes to people!

Not only is it fun to try and make a funky cake, but I also get to lick the bowls out like when I was little!!
