James Blunt
On Tuesday night in Scala at Kings Cross I saw this gentleman, James Blunt, play an excellent set. It was a very different gig to his solo acoustic set at Cabot Hall supporting Beth Orton and it supports my theory that good songs generally work well with either a whole band or a single guitar.
James and his band rocked the 750 sell out crowd and everyone sung along to the bits they new including Happy birthday which we all sang for James since the culminating gig of their tour co-incided with his growing up by a year. He claimed to be 19 but I'm not sure I believe him.
I had a great night - shame it couldn't last.
Don't forget the 29th - tickets have arrived!
my opinion on James Blunt is he is an amasing singer and he is just COOL and i realy like him.

I went to see James blunt with 4 of my friends on Tuesday at Shepherds Bush Empire and he was SOOOOOOO amazingly good!! a MUST SEE!!! we got there at around 6:45 and the doors opened at 7:00, and we were the second row from the front!he is really great live and be sure to get in the front because he touched my hand!!!! ;-)
