I went to see Jess sing Mozart's Reqieum with the Bach Choir last night at the Royal Festival Hall. The first half was a short piece by someone I didn't recognise followed by (in my opinion) a long and boring piece by Beethoven.
The second half was the requiem and it was excellent, full on, in your face, emotional stuff. Very enjoyable.
