Nearly a Sports Diver

Last week's trip to Ironmonger Baths in Old street (the regular haunt of CliDive) saw our group of trainees take and (mostly) pass the theory part of the Sports Diver course we are taking.

This course is much more geared towards dive planning than the previous Ocean Diver course, with exam questions along the lines of "How much air will I need for this dive, and will this 10 litre tank be enough?". Undeniably useful information!

The practical, open water, side of the course will see us cram 5 dives into a weekend trip to Weymouth at the end of April, and each dive will focus on a specific skill which we've been practising at the afore mentioned Ironmonger Baths for the past 6 thursdays. Lets hope the water isn't too cold!
