A mini adventure?

This afternoon we saw a helicopter fly along the Thames at a height not much greater than our flat (9th floor) which, I'll admit, is not much of an event in itself. However, dangling around 10 metres underneath this particular helicopter on a length of thick cable was a steel cage not much bigger than a car.

I could tell it was not much bigger than a car because inside it was a car. This small red car was looking remarkably like a small red mini.

Could this be for their latest advertising campaign of "Mini Adventures"? Or was it just someone just trying to imitate Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?
