Space hacking

They may have a big new shared radio antenna array, but those on the search for messages from outer space may have new concerns on their plate. What if the message they recieve is actually an intergallactic computer virus? Stuff of science fiction? Maybe not.

Some scientists are concerned that a signal recieved from other worlds could be harmful to us and that some kind of quarantine might be needed.

"The possibility of a malevolent SETI Hacker signal must be assessed and protective measures should be put in place prior to the receipt of any real signals"
