Spamhaus is a non-profit company run from a boathouse on the Thames by a bearded guy and his dog. His tiny little pc controls mighty servers in each continent with the aim of identifying spammers and their spam sending machines.
Spamhaus then provides the lists they compile to ISPs free of charge to aid them in blocking spam once and for all!
